Providing transitional housing and support services for our homeless men to include our veterans
Idara’s House was inspired two years ago by Donny’s youngest daughter Idara. With tears in her eyes over the homeless and their situations, she asked her father to buy a house for the homeless during a date night over dinner. Donny decided a few years later he would somehow fulfill Idara’s request.
Idara’s house will provide transitional housing and support services for our homeless men to include our veterans. This project has a goal to raise $25,000 to start the process in assisting our homeless by renting a home or small commercial building. The final result of this transition home is to have them gainfully employed, secure permanent housing, budgeting classes and mental health services.
